Painted in acrylic on 250g acid free natural coloured paper. This is a intensely detailed painting capturing the light and texture of the bird. The flat colour of the background works as a contrast to the detail and emphasises the silhouette of the bird. There is approximately 1cm of natural coloured border around the image making it easier to frame.
