Sugarlift at the Spring 2016 Affordable Art Fair, New York City
Wednesday, March 30 - Sunday, April 3, 2016
(New York, March 23, 2016) Sugarlift is excited to return to this year’s Spring Affordable Art Fair at the Metropolitan Pavilion. We have assembled a top-notch group of artists for this iteration of the fair, and are excited to share their work! A Private Preview will be held on the evening of Wednesday, March 30, and the fair will be open to the public from Thursday, March 31 to Sunday, April 3. A full, detailed schedule is available on the Affordable Art Fair’s “Visit” page. Sugarlift will occupy BOOTH 1.2 on the first floor of the fair.
We are thrilled to be presenting work from the following artists: Heather Amistad | Sam Morrison | Jon Legere | Svetlana Rabey | Lizzie Gill | Matt Clark | Omar Z. Robles | Erik Hougen | Guno Park | Danica Lundy | Dina Brodsky | Nicolas V. Sanchez | Rob McCarthy.
Join us on April 1 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm in the Programming Lounge on Level 2 for an informal panel discussion with three of our local artists, focusing on how artists are keeping their careers sustainable, cultivating new audiences and utilizing business skills for a career that is built to last. The discussion will feature artists Lizzie Gill, Guno Park, and Erik Hougen. Sugarlift President and co-founder Wright Harvey will moderate, and audience members should feel free to ask any questions they have!
We would love to send press passes to anyone who would like to attend the Affordable Art Fair, and are also more than happy to provide high-res images of any artwork in the show, and to arrange interviews with Sugarlift artists. Please reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any inquiries.
