Description

Work completed as part of the Brooklyn Other Art Fair in cooperation with Dell Computers to be a worked on throughout the tenure of the fair in November 2017. A swirling chaos of color holds two hands transforming nebulous smoke. The drawing is completed with a technique using thousands of hand written words to carve out shape, shadow and light, imbuing form with content, and executed through both a memorized prose poem in a dialogue with the image about transforming chaos, written by the artist and coupled with an improvisational stream of consciousness in variation of that theme. The two canvas panels are hung free floating on the wall like tapestries with a wood panel and sewn velcro.
