Oil on linen
30" x 28"

Description

This is a framed, original oil painting on linen re-creating the feeling of a collage. In this series, “The Rise and Fall,” the torn papers suggest blocks of crumbling monuments, architecture, or abstracted landscapes. Birds are the protagonists of the works as they forage what is left behind by mankind. Themes touched on include conceptual play, mortality, the cycle of life, and the fragility of nature. Ships framed and ready to hang.
