Alexander Jowett

Night Desert #2 is part of Jowett's Horizon Lines series of abstract line drawings that follow from Kant's metaphysics and draws upon zen Buddhist philosophies. The artist draws out each line in a slow meditative pace, whilst kneeling down. In meditating on his lines he hopes the viewer will come to feel a similar contemplative calmness as felt when one sits and watches the horizon.
