Alexander Jowett

Under the Sri Lankan Sun (Ocean Dreaming) is an abstract line drawing that follows from Kant's metaphysics and draws upon zen Buddhist philosophies. The artist draws out each line in a slow meditative pace, whilst kneeling down. In meditating on his lines he hopes the viewer will come to feel a similar contemplative calmness to that of spending time by the Ocean or in the desert.
