Dan Covert

Dan Covert is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York. In his art practice Covert investigates the potential for form to create its own graphic language and symbolic systems. He pushes the emotional and formal limits of abstraction through sculptural and painted forms. Within his minimal pieces, the individual qualities of surface and silhouette become paramount to express the unique characteristics of each shape. While aesthetically and conceptually, Dan’s work serves as a conduit for exploring the potential of connection and the limits of perfectionism.
