I painted the Cellino & Barnes billboard over the Botanica shop on location in the summer of 2019 in the Bronx. I liked the way both the botanical and the billboard were trying to sell you stuff for whatever ails you. When I painted this scene, I had somehow managed to never hear the law firm's jingle, apparently it's very catchy lol! The lawyers have since broken up the firm and had a long drawn out lawsuit over who was entitled to keep the 888 phone number and jingle. In the end, neither one of the main lawyers got to keep the number or the jingle.
