Kiki Slaughter's work is an experiment with the fundamental process of painting. She paints in the moment; intuitively pouring, scraping and layering colors to create expressive compositions.

Paint is her method and her muse - she finds inspiration in the very act of painting and also draw elements from the world around her, especially nature. Bringing together her love of both color-saturated canvases and bold interiors, Slaughter's painterly aesthetic also covers textiles and wall coverings as vibrant patterns directly translated from original works of art.
