Still Life Oil Painting, done from life, in the Academic style. The wooden box in this painting belongs to my family. It was passed on to my mother from her mother. I wanted to symbolize memories with life & death, where an egg symbolizes life, a skull symbolizes death, water represents emotions, and the box itself with a letter sticking out represents memories.
