I'm drawn to the hidden abstract patterns, random shapes, and aesthetic tensions I find in real objects–particularly within the confines of industrial structures and objects. This paintings explores the interesting plays of shadow and light found in the stairwell of a parking garage on a University campus. I get drawn into the angles and movement of this painting. You can't stop looking at it.
