“Let me sing to you now about how people turn into other things.” - Ovid A work in the continuing series entitled Eternal Recurrence based on the myth of Daphne, an extrapolation of its foray into the nature of transformation, and the transformation of nature through cycle and echo and recurrence. This loose interpretation binds together ideas of transformation, a deep connection to nature, and the daunting effects of climate change. The figures are all drawn in ink with a written narrative script using metaphor and meaning to describe light and shadow.
