My Father and his poem book he kept since his childhood in Afghanistan. Having seen the promising future but further fall of his homeland, to the deaths of his loved ones, he has always kept this reminder as a keepsake of the times he used to cherish. Bright colors in his sweater try to hide the pain he feels, but the book is always there to bring him a sliver of joy.
