"The Grounds" #1 ,2 & 3 are acrylic paintings on canvas measuring 52 x 74 inches. The three works were made over a full year from 2021 to 2022 with earth tones and matte textures created with raw pigment and pulverized stones which I collect in a Bronx park. The feelings and ideas behind these images echo the old walls and bridges in my studio neighborhood.
