The place

600 West 125th Street is a 34-story residential building in Manhattanville with 142 apartments.

Sugarlift placed art throughout the building's shared floors. In the lobby, a commissioned series of twelve hand-sewn works on canvas runs along the wall beside the ramp.

The approach

Upstairs, works on paper, photographs and glazed ceramic tiles hang in the lounges and game room, and a set of cyanotypes made for the building lines an events corridor on the 33rd floor.
